Summer is a great time to study abroad

Enrich your studies and gain a competitive edge by studying abroad this summer!

International Academic Programs (IAP), UW–Madison’s largest study abroad office, offers more than 100 summer study abroad and domestic study away programs. These opportunities are for students from diverse backgrounds in all majors and at all academic levels. In addition to earning in-residence credit for coursework completed abroad, you may be able to do an internship, engage in fieldwork, conduct research, or participate in service-learning.

Credit earned on IAP programs can count toward graduation and degree requirements, allowing you to stay on track for graduation. Many programs even allow you to graduate abroad.

Numerous scholarships and grants are available to students studying abroad, and most students are able to use financial aid for their study abroad programs. Learn more by searching for scholarships and reading about the financial aid process.
