UW-Madison students have the opportunity to explore the world through more than 100 summer programs in a variety of languages, including many in English.

Wisconsin Intensive Summer Language Institutes
Want to immerse yourself in a language this summer? From Arabic to Uzbek, we’ve got you covered. You could enroll in a Wisconsin Intensive Summer Language Institute (WISLI). WISLI condenses an entire year of language study in the eight-week summer session that combines classroom learning with a variety of co-curricular activities. It is a wonderful way to meet other language learners and practice the skills you are learning.
