A scholarship designed to support you while gaining real world experience this summer
This scholarship is intended for students who are participating in unpaid or underpaid internships for credit. We are here to help support you and your learning journey with this new Summer Internship scholarship!

Please note that if you apply for the Summer Finish and/or the Undergraduate Scholarship for Summer Study you are not able to receive all awards. If selected, you will only receive one of the awards.
Eligibility criteria
- Enrolled at UW–Madison pursuing an undergraduate degree.
- Enrolled in at least one UW–Madison summer course (including internship courses) by April 7, 2024.
- Internship must be 10 hours/week minimum; 6 weeks minimum; cannot be for internship post-graduation.
Selection criteria
Applicants should provide a job description and letter signed by their internship coordinator (in the scholarship application) that will be reviewed by a scholarship committee. Funding is limited. Awards may be distributed on a first-come first-serve basis.
Award notification
Scholarship Award Amounts of up to $1,500 will be available. Scholarship recipients will be notified by mid-May, 2024.
