WISLI offers high-quality, proficiency-driven courses in more than 30 languages for undergraduate and graduate students, adult lifelong learners, and high school juniors and seniors participating online.

In just eight weeks, our proficiency-based programs cover one full year of language study and help learners develop the communication skills needed to use their language confidently in real-world settings. WISLI alumni leave well prepared to continue their language training and apply their skills at home and abroad.

Most courses meet synchronously via Zoom, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. CDT. Elementary Vietnamese, Thai, and Indonesian are the only courses offered in person. Course offerings vary from year to year based on student interest.
