Summer Term is an affordable way to stay on track for graduation or even graduate early, saving money on tuition, housing, and more down the road. Scholarships and other types of financial aid help make Summer Term budget-friendly, too.

UW–Madison Undergraduate Scholarship for Summer Study
This general scholarship is open to UW–Madison undergraduates who are in good academic standing, have a cumulative GPA that reflects academic success, and are enrolled in at least one UW–Madison summer course.
Transfer Scholars Summer Award
This award is automatically applied to the tuition bills of students who transferred to UW–Madison in spring 2025 and enroll in courses in Summer 2025.
Summer Finish
This scholarship is available to students who can finish their UW–Madison degrees by enrolling in summer courses.
Summer Housing Boost
The Summer Housing Boost can help students cover the cost of living in residence halls over the summer.
Summer Internship Scholarship
This scholarship is intended for students who are participating in unpaid or underpaid internships for credit.
