• Be currently enrolled at UW–Madison pursuing an undergraduate degree
• Apply to graduate this summer by April 5, 2026
• Be in good academic standing and have a cumulative GPA which reflects academic success
• Enroll in at least one UW–Madison summer course by April 5, 2026
• FAFSA required prior to awarding decisions for domestic students
• Students that are unable to file the FAFSA are still eligible to apply and should utilize the open response financial need question on the application to explain their level of need

Apply for the Summer Finish scholarship Study using your campus NetID and password to log into the Wisconsin Scholarship Hub (WiSH) scholarship application portal. 

In the application, students will be asked to upload a signed letter from their academic advisor certifying that their Summer 2026 course selections (list the courses in the letter) will enable them to graduate in Summer 2026.

Application opens February 9, 2026 and closes April 5, 2026.

Completed applications are evaluated by a scholarship review committee using the eligibility criteria outlined. Applicants should also have well-written responses to the application questions.

Due to limited funding, student financial need may be taken into consideration during the selection process.

Scholarship award amounts are $1,000.  Scholarship recipients will be notified by the end of April 2026.

Please note that if you apply for the Undergraduate Scholarship for Summer Study and/or the Summer Internship Scholarship in addition to this Summer Finish Scholarship, you are only able to receive one of the awards.
